Film Studies

The Department of Film Studies offers three years general B.A/ B.SC course in film studies. The aims and objectives of the department are to develop the skills of a student to appreciate and analyse a film and to provide a comprehensive idea about how to make a film.
The Study will include Hollywood cinema, European cinema, latin America cinema, Indian and Bengali cinema, art and technique of cinema film theories and script writing and practical exercise.
