Games and Sports

The Sports and Games Development Sub-committee is pleased to report on a successful year of promoting sports and physical activity among students.

Highlights of the Year:

  • Organized International Yoga Day celebrations [24th June, 2023]
  • Hosted an Alpana & Mehndi Competition [12.10.2023]
  • Conducted a workshop on Self Defense [19.12.2023]
  • Organized the Annual Sports event [06.02.2023]
  • Supported student participation in the Half Marathon, Kolkata Police [21.01.2024] and Inter State Sports & Games Competitions [04.03.2024 – 06.03.2024]
  • Organized indoor Chess, Table Tennis, and Carrom competitions in collaboration with the Students Association.

Additional Achievement:

  • Opened a new spacious Students Common Room, providing a valuable space for students to gather and relax [13.03.2024]

The Sub-committee is committed to fostering a love of sports and games among students, and we are proud of the achievements of this past year. We look forward to building on this success in the year ahead.

Netaji Nagar College For Women announces the availability of Lady's Hostel for quality residential education [ B.A. / B.Sc. ( Honours & General Courses ) ] affiliated to the University of Calcutta.

A person of great academic interest who wishes to remain anonymous sponsors a scholarship awarded to the students securing top position in University Examination.
 
 
 

Career Counselling Cell

There is a separate career counselling cell comprising 5 computers with internet facility and laser printers sponsored by U.G.C. for career guidance of the Students.
